Serving the authentic künefe, a typical Antakya cheese pastry, is consider to be one of the most delicious Turkish desserts, freshly made in the premises everyday, cook when order, it takes 10 minutes or more to cook Künefe but well worth the waiting. This sweet cheese pastry is made with buttered vermicelli filled with cheese then cook in a metal plate directly over the hob, when both side cooked until crispy golden brown, a light syrup is poured over the piping hot künefe, you can have it as it is or, top with clotted cream and ground pistchio.
